Queer Fitness Spaces in St. Louis

Take care of your Self, together. This is a list of LGBTQ+ centered fitness groups, where you can move your body, make new friends, and maybe even try something new.

Learn more about these groups to see what might be a good fit for you, and reach out to them directly with any questions. Some groups are exclusive to specific identities, some are open to any and all - be sure to do your research.

  • Black Trans Bike Experience

    BTBE: an STL & National bike community that fosters physical growth, balance, and resource sharing thru outdoor adventures.

  • Trans Athlete Assn of STL

    A group for trans people + allies to uplift each other + feel empowered to take up space in the gym + our daily lives. All skill levels! Join their Discord.

    Queer Fight club is about connection: of oneself and their body, of oneself and their anger, and of the community we are cultivating together.

  • Transmasc Wrestling

  • Queer Contra Dance

    2nd Tuesday of each month at Focal Point, hosted by SheDances.

  • Wuhluhwuh Run Club

    Sapphic Women’s Running Group, meeting Saturday mornings in Tower Grove Park.

  • Show Me Country Line Dancing

    LGBTQ+ country line and partner dance group, dancing on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at @handlebarstl, 4:30-7:30p

  • Nature Gays Who Hike

    This group is an open, inclusive space centering LGBTQ+ folks, especially queer and trans people, who find spiritual connection through the outdoors. Everyone is invited to come exactly as they are no matter their gender, sexuality, or spiritual background (or lack thereof).

  • St. Louis GLASS

    STL GLASS is a non-profit dedicated to promoting and facilitating amateur athletic competition for all persons, with an emphasis on the LGBTQ+ Communities, and to promote, organize and conduct clinics, seminars and training courses.

  • Team Saint Louis

    TSL creates an inclusive space for LGBTQ_ individuals through sports and wellness programs, promoting acceptance, unity, and a safe environment. Includes pickleball, volleyball, and more.

  • HotMess Sports

    When you play in a HotMess Sports league, you can be your authentic self and have fun while doing it. LGBTQ+ sports, including kickball, grass volleyball, bowling, dodgeball, and more.
